Parking Information
Visitor parking is primarily
available in four parking garages and two surface lots which have been converted
to pay by space digital pay stations. A limited number of other pay by space
meters are located around campus. The
campus map provides a
visual view of the location of these spaces. The hourly parking rate, hours of
operation, and parking restrictions may vary by location. Please remember that
listed rates and operating hours are subject to change. Visitor parking may not
be available during special events. Read any posted signs before parking.
Locations
Visitor Center lot - This lot is available to prospective
students attending admissions programs in the Visitor Center. A limited number
of one- and two-hour permits are sold at the Visitor Center for use in this lot
by guests visiting the Lee, Mitchell, or Main Administration buildings.
Union Lane Garage - Located between the Adele H. Stamp Student
Union Center for Campus Life and Cole Field House. Hours of operation are
7:00a.m. to 2:00 a.m. daily. Current rates at this facility are $3.00 per hour,
with a $15.00 per day maximum and a $5 per day maximum on Saturday and Sunday.
Stadium Drive Garage - Located adjacent to Byrd Stadium, the
Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center and the Riggs Alumni Center. The hours of
operation, as a digital pay station facility, are 7:00a.m. to 2:00 a.m. daily.
This location is also used for prepay visitor parking on evenings and weekends,
as necessary, for Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center events. Current
rates at this facility are $3.00 per hour, with a $15.00 per day maximum and a
$5 per day maximum on Saturday and Sunday.
Paint Branch Drive Visitor Lot - Located near the A.V.
Williams, Animal Science, and Agriculture/Life Science building. The hours of
operation, as a digital pay station facility, are 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. daily.
Parking rates at this location are $3.00 per hour, with a $15.00 per day maximum
and a $5 per day maximum on Saturday and Sunday.
Mowatt Lane Garage - Located near Van Munching Hall and the
Robert H. Smith School of Business. Three hundred fifty parking spaces within
this facility are allocated for visitor parking on the top level of the
garage. The hours of operation, as a digital pay station facility, are
7:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. daily. Parking rates for this facility are $3.00 per
hour, with a $15.00 per day maximum and a $5 per day maximum on Saturday and
Sunday.
Regents Drive Garage - Located near Hornbake Library, the Plant
Science, Physics and Chemistry buildings. A small number of visitor
parking spaces are available on the south (Fieldhouse Drive) entrance. Hours of
operation are 7:00a.m. to 2:00 a.m. daily. Current rates at this facility are
$3.00 per hour, with a $15.00 per day maximum and a $5 per day maximum on
Saturday and Sunday.
